Math Instructor
I am a 77 year-young semi-retired Electronic Engineer that has been teaching Mathematics and
Computers.  I do not smoke, do not take any drugs, not even aspirins, etc.  I like sports, especially
tennis.  I am interested in a part-time position teaching math, computer applications or electronics.

I teach by analysis, not by rote.  In order to have a responsible democracy its citizens have to be
educated, not trained.  Education is by comparative analysis and critical thinking, training is by
memorization.  Math, as any other subject,  has to make sense, not to be memorized.  In Computer
Applications, as in Math, there are many ways of doing the same thing.  If a student is confused when
presented with more than one way to do a problem in math, he really has not learned the subject.  He
has memorized an algorithm.

If you like my philosophy, I would love to hear from you.
